The Myth of Talent
By: Mark Joyner
"Look, sorry kid, but either you have 'it' or you don't."
Jacque Fresco to Failing Teacher:
"Bollocks!"
What if instead of "talent" success or failure in drawing (or in life), were instead governed by some other secret ingredient that is not visible to the untrained eye?
Watch the video of the 91 Year Old Superhuman Jacque Fresco below to find out what "it" actually is ...
After watching, be sure to vote in the blog entry below for the "World's Worst Artist" and the winner will be given free access to our upcoming new course:

Mark, I really enjoy your site. Its a great encouragement, especially the daily emails with quotes.
Man Mark! Once again you have a hit on your hands. But be fair warned Jacque Fresco may eclipse your popularity. This guy is fabulous.
I look forward to hearing everything this gentleman has to say about art and life.
I'm a musician/songwriter for many years and I just figured out I can apply some of the same artistic principles to design.
We all know there's a lot of useless info and videos on the internet, but if your 80 years old or greater and you're making videos on the internet, You've got my full attention. Get down with your bad self!
Thanks Jacque
Thanks Mark.
Sincerely,
Alex T.
Note from MJ: Hey Alex, glad you like this one! I hope Jacque does get the immense popularity he deserves - we're great friends and I'd love nothing more. Dig deeper into Jacque's stuff. If you're into my "Constructs" he's on a similar course - with some difference in focus and a few different philosophical approaches. That's how we originally met ...
Does Jacque Fresco have a course on how to draw?
I couldn't find one online.
thank you,
John C.
Note from MJ: Hey John, it will be released on December 3rd: http://www.simpleology.com/training/drawing/ - some groundbreaking stuff in there.
I really appreciate the sincerity and depth in his eyes and how expressive his face is, makes me want to really know more about him... :)
Very inspiring! I can't wait... I see so many ways this will make my life even better...
:)
Jacques is right - everyone *CAN* draw. I've seen evidence of disbelief of artistic ability turned into beautiful art - in the matter of a couple of weeks! I am very intrigued with Jacques' method! Bring it on Jacques! :)
"The Great Teachers" series is a wonderful idea. I look forward to what will undoubtedly be some Great teachings!
Thanks Mark & team :)
Nancy
"The Great Teachers" series is a great idea. Very beneficial to teachers and students alike. It has been my experience that teaching anything takes my own understanding to a whole new level. And truly understanding the laws that govern a skill makes "Talent"
I really liked his comments about teaching and this is what I like to hear when I am learning a new subject.
Wow, would the course be online and would the registration be unlimited?
Art has been one of the most interesting things I want to pick up but haven't got the talent for it.
The announcement page says the course is going to be released 3 dec 2008?? I hope thats a typo, I don't want to wait that long!!!;)
Thank you Jacques Fresco. I do not know you, but I do know that you have what it takes to make a great teacher. I wish all people, especially younger people would take advantage of the "knowledge" of older people for they possess wisdom and we need so much more of this in this lifetime.
Hi Mark,
what a wonderful idea to offer that course!
But, do you really plan the release for December 3rd, 2008 as the link under the video tells me? :-)
P-l-e-a-s-e put me on the Jacques Fresco Drawing Course Notification List. Thanks loads...
I can draw but don't know why. I want to know how I do it so I can do it better than ever. It is my best talent yet I can make no money out of it so there is soemthing missing. Maybe he can show me what that is.
Jacque Fresco is an absolute treasure of a human being. Thank you Mark! I so value just the gift of listening to all that wonderful experience and insight in the video clip. A true sage.
I wish such a course exists for writers.
Jacques Fresco is some kind of demigod to me. The conversations he had with Einstein and other great minds, he's as he calls himself a futurist. He's a pure humanist, as it's seldom to find these days (i'm one too, but it surely has disadvantages in all day life)
A pity he died.
To me, he's one of the most fabulous people that ever existed. Over 1500 inventions, so many good thoughts. Such a stupid belief in the good in humankind.
If he would still live, I'd ask to be his apprentice.
Note from MJ: Hi Sunny, as far as I know Jacque is still alive, well, and frisky as ever :-)
