user-pic  The World's 2nd Worst Artist 4 Days Later
By: Mark Joyner

According to our not-so-scientific poll Olivier Pilon is the 2nd worst artist in the world.

OK, who knows if this is true - or how such things are measured - but we have to admit, Olivier's entry was pretty, well ...

Bad:

No offense, dude.  But I figured you wouldn't mind me saying that since you did in fact enter a contest for "The World's Worst Artist."

Anyway, we gave Olivier and a few of the other entrants in the contest access to the BETA version of our new course:  Simpleology Great Teachers Series:  Jacque Fresco Teaches Drawing.

The version Olivier and the other entrants are using had some serious flaws (that our team has since corrected) and was incomplete.

Nonetheless, his result after 4 days was, well ...

Good:

Hey, he's no Pablo Picasso or Jacque Fresco yet, but not bad for just four days of practice using a broken version of the course, huh?

Well i am an artist myself and from my understanding of the art world, Olivier Pilon's first painting, the one with colored happy faces would sell way better than his second.

nowadays people praise imperfection and regard perfection as norm.

so my note to Olivier is to follow his old style and in near future he can become a very famous artist.

i gave the same advise to a classmate of mine who failed the illustration class because of her bad drawings, she followed it, and now she is quite known and her paper paintings are sold from 2000 upwards.

Guys we all praise the unusual, and nowadays perfection is too usual to be appreciated. stay with your imperfection and be thankful to god for owning it.

cheers
