Will You Be the Next Best-Selling Author?

On the 26th we're launching a new class of Simpleology tools.

You've seen our "Core" training (101, 102, 103, more coming ...)

You've seen our first "Great Teachers" training ...

Now get ready for our BLUEPRINTS.

Our first is going to show anyone how to become a legitimate best-selling author on Amazon or even the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal.

In conjunction with this, we are going to do some really outrageous things over the next two weeks.

First, we're launching a contest today that is bigger and bolder than any other we've done to date:

http://www.BeTheNextBestSellingAuthor.com/

The winners will get a custom-crafted best-seller plan from me and my team.

And *everyone* will get a 147 buck gift just for entering.

(Hint: if you do any writing at all - you'll want this gift.  A friend of mine who has written 95 books - 95! - will show you just how he does it ...)

Looking forward to looking at your entry! I'll be viewing each and every one personally.

I am looking forward to this one.
My writing skills aren't so good, but I keep getting ideas about writing. So, I hope I will be able to learn how to do it right!

One question though.
Why do you ask to submit one's password as well as username. Security wise, it's not wise :-)
(I'm security freak, forgive me that).

Note from MJ: Hey Nick, you're actually logging in - that way we can verify it's you :-)

Hi Mark, I am so excited. Somehow, I knew in my heart that this course is coming up and I will have a chance to get help from the very best. I speak English as my second language but I have written a great book (and Mark Victor Hansen agreed on that ;-)). Thanks for this opportunity, I better get busy now...

Note from MJ: Hey Linda, you're in more luck than you think - it's not just a course - it's a full blown blueprint walking you through the whole process step by step - plus you'll get a chance to ask me questions directly. We're pulling out all the stops on this one to help out as many authors as we can.

I've never won a competition of this size before. It would be good to break the mold, for a change.

Note from MJ: Hey Rezbi, please read the instructions - we almost missed this one from you! I don't see the URL in the description and that's how I search for the videos on youtube ... Best of luck to you :-) Oh snap! Just watched it. Brilliant come back.

I'm in! My video is live and ready for your viewing pleasure. Woo hoo!

Beautiful idea. Here is my video.

Hey Mark, Thanks. I did wonder for a moment, at the time, how I would get out of that situation.

I was just happy she didn't complain or I probably would have got fired.

The people who frequented that health club tended to be rich or famous... or both. I actually had a couple of actors who were my clients.

I've never uploaded a video before. Can someone tell me why my page views aren't updating? It's showing I have 11 views when I do a search, but when I click through to my channel page I have nearly 200 views. Suggestions as to why there's a discrepancy?

Thanks!

"Suggestions as to why there's a discrepancy?"

Lisa

This is normal, I always find the channel page seems to be updated first. Look on the bright side - you got 189 views on your second day so you're well on your way to being most viewed video :-)

LRS

Woo hoo! That's pretty exciting. I haven't really even told anyone yet! Cool beans. Thanks for the info LRS and congrats to you!

Hi Mark,

I just read "The Rise of the Author." I always enjoy reading your work.

I found it interesting how the perception of a best selling print author could decline due to the advancements in technology we are seeing.

There really does seem to be a window closing on print authors.

I am inspired to work towards becoming a best selling print author before this window shuts for good.

Cheers,
Solly

Mark,

Very interesting stuff. Am writing a novel (first book) and have been wondering about getting published. Have thought about publishing it on the web, but not as an eBook, more like a website, and have not been able to think of a creative way to make money off it. So your email was timely for me.

Am now thinking of getting it published in print and promoting it as you've outlined. Need to finish it first.

May try the contest.

Thanks.

Mark,
As always timely, thought-full content. I will be one who will hate to see paper books go, and I do not delude myself that the books I loved to hold physically in my hands will at some point be unavailable at reasonable cost. And be replaced by...nothing. Digital 1s and 0s are a very abstract non-commidity...eBooks are (rightfully) respected about as much as used car salesmen and the sleaziest politicians...given the "quality" and "self-purposed"-ness of most of the offerings to date- yours (and very few others) not included. No respectable print media author would ever associate with them (well, maybe by pseudonym). For a number of reasons:
1.) They are intangible. They do not have the satisfying and enduring characteristics of physicality.
2.) Any review of eBooks is inherently tainted by the reviewer's financial interests (most 'review' sites are really affiliate sites).
3.) If a book becomes 'banned' a physical book can be hidden easily- an eBook can be unplugged and not only wiped from existence, but wiped from "ever-having existed" very easily. Sure, there may be some poor quality user-printed copies, which will not last...but the people who profess to have seen one can then be made to be the 'crackpots' you refer to.
3.) Print book sales are still on the rise...though more modestly and erratically, giving some comfort to those who prefer them...but eBooks are also rising slowly- thing is, like the music business, when the tipping point is reached, the change will happen overnite.

Who could have thought that Vinyl and High-End Tube Amplifiers' perfect rendition of sound could be replaced by the inferior quality of mp3s downloaded to the equivalent of a 1960s transistor radio through earbuds?

I'd like to think I have a few books in me, and would like to get them out before this change occurs-
but have neither the discipline or knowledge required to do so- Help me!
I don't want to be an eBook author until it's absolutely necessary!
I want the authority attached to being a print book best-selling author!

Note from MJ: Hey Alex, help is on the way. The Blueprint is going to break it down for you in the simplest possible terms and help you do it from idea to post-best-seller monetization.

Hi, I'm in...I think. How do we confirm that? Do we get an email confirmation? Sorry...just need to make sure. I never wanted to win a competition so badly. Well, who wouldn't? A blueprint from MJ, the guru of all gurus!!!

I hope the law of attraction works this time. Recently, a NY publisher (one of the big six) is interested in my book, Asian Slim Secrets. So this will be perfect timing!

The diet industry is full of crap (excuse me) and it's sad to see nice & decent people, working class Americans getting sicker and sicker. I am like a small David against Goliath but I learn how to improve my WOMKAI (message, product quality, customer experience, referral) every day. Kaizen, right?

Mark, I have to confess I was somewhat skeptic regarding you credibility however it did not take long (maybe 1 minute googling) to shut that down. You are absolutly brilliant my friend and for a lot of different reasons.
Two reasons I say that, you have paid the price to gain the knowledge, and now you're sharing with those who "have ears to hear". To me, That is the mark of a great man/woman. I would love to meet you some day my friend.

Thank you,

Keith

Note from MJ: Hey Keith, Twain said he could live a month on a kind word. I think you just fed me for a year.

Wow, Mark! What a great and fun challenge it was to get my contest entry created and uploaded. Between requirements of life pulling me away from the task at hand and multiple technical glitches that had to be overcome along the way, I finally succeeded in hitting that target. My entry is in! And knowing how "right on" and high quality your courses always are, I know your Simpleology Best-Seller Blueprint will help me hit my dream target of becoming a best-selling author much faster and easier than I could possibly do on my own. Thanks for sponsoring the contest!

Hi Mark

Finally got out of bed and got round to entering this competition too.

This video thing is fun!

There are approximately 1 to 200+ individuals anxiously awaiting the results of the contest.

Are you keeping us in suspense just to mess with us Mark? ;)

Yes, I'm antsy and hopeful. The waiting was fun for a day or two, now it just haunts me from my mental lock box...

Note from MJ: Hey Wayne, please stand by - we're almost there! Please know this has been an extremely complex one to finish judging.
